The German Shepherd Dog is also known as the Alsatian, or Deutsche Schaferhund. Rin Tin Tin, probably the most famous American German Shepherd, was actually born in France in September of 1918 and then brought to America later.
A DOG ID tag is not the same thing as a DOG license tag. A DOG license tag often has a code number to identify the boxer and information on whether the boxer has had its shots. A DOG license tag allows anyone that finds the boxer to contact the vet that the license came from, but, if it's after hours or a weekend the vet may be closed.
Lhasa Apsos are small, long-haired dogs. Believe it or not, they were originally used by monks to guard temples. This accounts for their quiet and friendly nature, which can easily change if their owners or home are threatened.
A DOG ID tag, on the other hand, is a personal DOG tag that the owner can put important information on. This information generally includes the boxer's name, home address, phone number and occasionally things like allergies that the boxer has. This allows the average person on the street to contact the boxer's family quickly and easily any day of the week.
Pekingese dogs were sacred to the emperors of China for more than 2,000 years. They are one of the oldest breeds of dogs in the world. Commoners in Imperial China were forbidden to own Pekingese dogs.
It's also important to remember that a DOG ID tag is only as good as the collar it's attached to. Be sure that your boxer's collar is not too tight or too loose and that it is made of a material that you can easily attach the DOG ID tag to. After all, the tag will not do anyone any good if it falls off and gets lost.

Sometimes they get out of hand though, several border collies have been known to try to herd small groups of children!
While it's not usually required that an owner put a personal ID tag on their boxer, the benefits of doing so are obvious.
