Boxer Day Care: For Those Boxers Who Crave Attention

Dog day care provides the same services as a day care, but for your boxers instead of your children. This can be a good idea for someone who has a boxer who demands a lot of attention and large amounts of play and energy, but maybe your job forces you to go away for periods of time, or your boxer has separation anxiety--and misbehaves when separated for too long. DOG day care is experiencing a huge jump in popularity. The basic idea with DOG day care is really easy. If you're gone a lot during the day, but have boxers who need constant attention, or other DOGS to play with, then you can drop them off at a place where they can interact with people and other DOGS.

A st. bernard became a mother in 1975. While that wasn't unusual by itself, the unusual thing was that she had twenty-three puppies! She now shares this record with two other dogs, one of which originally set it in 1944.

With toys and company, this is a great place for your high energy boxers who need attention during the day when you can't provide it. This usually a great solution for high energy DOGS, though this can vary based on personality and breed. Certain breeds of DOGS tend to be very aggressive, or very over-protective of their owners. For this type of DOG, a DOG day care is not the best solution for your pet. So your boxers personality also will have a lot to do with whether or not this is a good decision for your pet.

The Lowchen, a small, somewhat rare breed of dog, is native to France. It's called "petit chien lion" or, "little lion dog". This is due to its fur growth, as it resembles the mane of a lion.

Most DOG day care centers will be based in large, open spaces, such as a pole building or renovated warehouses. This gives the DOGS the space they need and can help divide the high energy DOGS from the low energy, the large from the small. Aside from an indoor area, most will also have an outdoor exercise area, and even include "time-out" areas for DOGS who get too rowdy and need to calm down a little. For those who know their pets need more energy, more time to play, then DOG day care might be a great idea.

Bloodhounds have dewlaps. What are dewlaps? They are strange looking, pendulous folds of skin on the back of the neck. They don't seem to serve any useful purpose to the bloodhound, but are rather interesting to look at.
