How to Find a Good Boxer Groomer

If youre looking for a good boxer groomer then one of your best options is simple observation. Look at other people and their boxers. If you see a well-groomed boxer, dont hesitate to ask the owner what groomer they take their boxer to. People love to talk about their pets.

The dachshund's name comes from it's earliest use. The dachshund was originally a badger hunter. In German, Dachs means "badger," Hund is "hound". This explains the breed's curious and inquisitive nature, which has survived to this day.

Another good way to find a groomer is by getting recommendations from friends and neighbors who own boxers or asking for advice from local veterinarians. Any of them will be a wealth of useful information, particularly if they own, or are familiar with boxers.

Basset hounds are fabulous at hunting and they make wonderful companion dogs. However, even with those great qualities, basset hounds are horrible swimmers! Their legs are simply too small to keep their heavy, long bodies afloat properly.

Once youve accumulated a list of potential groomers you should begin by calling each groomer and asking them a few simple questions on the phone, or arranging to tour their facility and ask them questions while there.

About eight thousand years ago, ancient Egyptians began to raise a breed called Saluki, as hunting dogs. Saluki is an arabic word. In english it translates as "noble one". These dogs are probably the oldest known breed.

You should begin by asking if they are willing to groom your particular breed of boxer. While some groomers groom all DOGS, others specialize in certain breeds. You may want to also ask if they groom cats, if you think that your boxer will have a problem with cats. Next, ask if the groomer has any formal training. If there is more than one person doing the grooming at a particular facility, ask if the same person will groom your boxer every time as well. Also, keep in mind that, in some places, DOG groomers are required to be licensed and certified in order to do certain procedures. Ask if each groomer you interview has these licenses when it applies.

The largest and the smallest dogs to live in the White House were both there during the tenure of president James Buchanan. The president had a Newfoundland named Lara. His niece, Harriet Lane, had a tiny toy terrier named Punch.

Make a point of noting how each potential groomer relates to you, as well as to your pet. Ideally you should be looking for an ongoing relationship. Ultimately, the groomer should be a friend to both you and your boxer.
